5 Things: Drug Update Monday
Center for Prevention and Counseling reps will be in Hopatcong Monday to talk about Sussex County drug trends with residents.
- You Need to Know What's Happening: The Sussex County Center for Prevention and Counseling will update Hopatcong residents on youth drug trends throughout Sussex County.
- You Need to Know When and Where: At Hopatcong High School at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
- You Need to Know Who Else is Sponsoring the Event: The Hopatcong Municipal Alliance. You might know the organization as the group that sponsors the Battle of the Bands.
- You Need to Know Why You Should Go: "Knowledge is a key ingredient in preventing substance abuse so parents and community members who want to protect their children should attend," said Tina Thompson of the Center for Prevention and Counseling. She later added: "We figured parents are concerned or should be concerned and will come out to learn what they can do to keep their kids healthy and safe."
