Have you seen this donation can?
Benefitting a Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure in May, it was missing from Frank's Pizzeria when Hopatcong resident Cheryl Hemmerich went to collect its contents Thursday.
Hemmerich wrote in an email:
Im sad to say that when I went to Frank's Pizza the can was gone!! Im just hoping that someone else is also collecting money for this very important cause! Unfortunately they could not tell me who came to collect the money...But they did offer a $25 donation if the can did not show up
Im hoping someone will come forward and say that they mistakenly took the can because they to are collecting donations
I dont want to think that this ANOTHER case in which someone has taken money for a good cause just because of greed! How much money couldve been in there?
Here's hoping that someone is honest enough to come forward.

Are you kidding me? Have things gotten that bad in Hopatcong that people are stealing from charities? How gross!

Hey so much the drama queen this has been happening since dawn of time when they started CAN charity in the 80`s into 90`s thats 20yrs,Always having lots of cash stuff in it for weeks and weeks,and no one having any concern that this would happen?please who would steel something like that!!! how about someone starving for food,drugs or cigarettes...Cans with chains with video tape surveilance the only a deterant,not something for our town Detectives to investigate and Im sure Franks has the video first hoping for the return of the can,Gee how about this... you pic the cans up once a week,not waiting for it to get full full..how hard is that! personally i hate the idea of cash and cans "donation" ...everyones doing it and its becoming big money for someone except the guy on the can

To Jazzman....not everyone is that much of a low life that they keep the cash that's in the donation cans! This fundraiser is for a worthy cause...as are many other donations cans that are out there!
