Hopatcong Man Admits to Heroin Overdose
Jesse Harvey, 24, pleads guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
A Hopatcong man recently admitted to overdosing on heroin.
Jesse Harvey, 24, pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton before Judge Peter Conforti on Jan. 24, according to a statement from the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office.
Police found Harvey naked and unconscious and in possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle in his home on March 26. Hopatcong Police Officer Edward Janosko investigated the incident, the prosecutor's office said.
Harvey is expected to be sentenced March 26.
Kevin McLaughlin represented Harvey. Assistant Prosecutor Rochelle Jones represented the state.
