I have eaten there many times. They have always been courteous & the tables are always clean when we go there. I'm sorry you had a bad experience there. I have had such rude service at Frank's that I will not go there any more. I guess it's a good thing there is more than one pizza place in town. For me, I will choose Parma John's over the others in town.

every pizza place in hopatcong stinks and this one tops the list. there is'nt anything special about their food and the people working there are sloppy looking and dirty.if i want pizza i drive to netcong to either carmines or johnny j's. but if you really want good pizza go to the pizza place in sparta or marino's in stanhope.

I don't know what anyone here is talking about honestly. I've eaten inside the place a number of times, both in the hot weather and the cold weather and it's always been comfortable, and it's definitely clean. Never found a dirty table or chair; the floor and counter are always clean and really, a plate was scratched? Really? You realize people cut food on them, right? It's a pizzeria... which happens to beat hands down the other attempts at pizza in this town.

We have lived in Hopatcong since 1980 and frequented Lakeside Pizza until the owner retired. Their pizza was outstanding! Then Parma John's came in and while they are not as good as Lakeside Pizza, in my opinion they are still the best in the Hopatcong area. Service is friendly, delivery is speedy, food is very, very good.

HHmmm...it sounds to me that Jersey Jim has his own personal agenda to defame Parma John's. My first clue was that you didn't sign your name to your review. That's a coward's position. I have been going to Parma John's for years,and I love it. If you want some real facts...just as the Health Inspector. He says it's the cleanest place in town, and in fact,it's the only place he comes back to eat...so Jersey Jim...get your facts straight before you ruin someone's livelihood. Parma John's...keep up the good work!!

Hi Hopatconites, I must say I have to agree with Brazil Lady, she hit the nail on the head about this place. I was a long time customer of PJs, I really never ate there and i always ordered delivery. But after i read what Brazil lady said i decided to go and have a meal inside the restaurant since i never had been in the place. Ok the first thing i noticed was how hot the place was when I walked in, so she was correct, no A/C, Then I ordrered a Chicken Parm, and while the plate was not dirty it was scratched from who knows how many years of use. The sandwich tasted good but it definatly was a thin frozen chicken patty not a real chicken cutlet, proceess meat. I noticed 1 older woman working and the rest was all young adults and High School kids, who I am sure like B.L said are not trained in proper sanitation. Do they need to be certified in Hopatcong, If there is anyone with knowledge on this subject i would like to hear feedback, I know that kids work in Mcdonald and Quick check, and in corporate places I am sure they are trained in the proper sanitation procedures. It did not look like they were trained PJs. After the meal I decided to get an Ice cream since I was so hot, I ordered a simple cone with toppings, the Ice cream was good BUT it was very soft, I think because it was so hot in the place the freezer was not able to keep up with the proper freezing temps and made the ice cream soft. Thanks BL I will never order delivery from a place again before i check it out.

Marie I appalud your effort for feedback, but if you need feedback for sanitaion problems from customers that to me is a problem in itself. I could see feedback about menu items, hours of operation etc, but if you need feedback from people who are not in the food business about cleaning and sweating into the food WOW that is scarry and makes me want to stay far away from PJs. About Noey, really!? maybe you should hire her to do some advertising she sure sound like she could do a good job at it. Quote " if you get some time try it and I promise you wont regret it" who is she to promise if she does not work there? Noey are you reading this who are you? Good try Marie, but you do not give me the confidence to want to try PJs again if you need help from the public on your own housekeeping..... You also rated your own buisness 3 stars?? and Noey who does not work there rated it 5 stars??? It just goes to show you that if you get treated bad, you should expect the same in return, the woman who treated us with disrespect is why I continue to write these coments, If it was 1 occasion maybe she was having a bad day, but I saw it on numerous occasions and just not to me to other customers and her own workers.Ciao PJS, I already have found another Pizzeria in town.. with A/C also...........

i love to get all my pizza items from parmajohns. Amazing foods workers are warm and welcoming and i absolutely would not eat anywhere else. so if you get time try it and i promise. you wont regret it. Friday and saturday open till ten. Cant wait

OH Better then that, when you ask them to toast that hot meatball or eggplant parm they do it everytime no mistakes !!!I gave up on that other guy for that very reason
